So I'm finely having a pottery sculpture show, on Granville Island Vancouver BC. This is happing in March at the BC museum of ceramics!  I'm very excited and nervous as I haven't completed all the work. I also sell right across the street at Craft House Gallery! So please check that out as well, if your in the area. Also I'm teaching a teapot workshop at the Shadbolt centre for the arts in March, this is like the big teapots pictured on my deviant site, in the shape of monsters.
im also still living on my blue bird bus on Salt Spring Island, my water pump needs fixing before winter. And my dog died and my boy friend moved away! I'm super happy anyways!

im moving to Salt spring island of the coast of Vancover. This is paradise,and im so lucky to get to live there. this is a bolder move than ive ever made myself. I hope to do pottery there but i dont have studio space yet so i hope that works out for me. i need someone to rent me space or to fire work for me,other wise ill have to get a job delivering pizza. please wish my luck maybe pray a little.

Wow this is so cool, it seems im getting into this upcoming book. last time it toke 2 years to come out!

Lark is working on a new book titled The Best of 500 Ceramics: Celebrating a
Decade in Clay. To be published in the Fall of 2012, this book celebrates
the ten-year anniversary of Lark's popular '500' ceramic design series.

We are compiling the most magnificent works from all ten books in a single,
hardcover, special edition. In an exciting twist, some of the most
celebrated ceramicists featured in the 500 series have juried the collection
and written statements about the pieces they selected. One of your pieces
has been chosen and we'd love to include it in this exclusive compilation.

We ask you to please sign, scan, (or fax 828-253-7952) and email back the
attached permissions form no later than next Tuesday, January 24. It is
imperative that we receive your release form by the end of Tuesday if you
wish for your piece to be included.

You will of course receive full credit in the book and a complimentary copy
of The Best of 500 Ceramics upon publication.

Wow so much is changing for me, after being unemployed for over a year[it was so hard] i'm starting my own business. I diden't have the money at first, but with some luck and fundraising ive got the money together to rent studio space.This is in Kamloops BC Canada. At first i looked for other artists to rent with,but was unable to find some one. I'm so excited i get to start working again! Also i just found out there are four other artists renting in the same building. I dont know these artists yet, I'm looking forward to meeting them.

So im doing some lantern workshops here in the loops, for a upcoming luminarie festival on Canada Day,hardly any people have showed up in the past 3 years .My goal is to try to inlist at least 100 artists to make and particapate in the lantern festival.im using lots of plastic recycled bottles .On Canada Day im doing a free lantern workshop tent for kids. So i hope its super awesome this year! im posting pics as i make lanterns.
